2021 wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. For the past 2 years, things have been repetitive and stagnant - mainly because of covid. Our lives have been restricted due to the pandemic.
Chinese New Year - covid restriction so no open house (tbh I prefer it this way, much more intimate)
The introverted me was happy as I didn't need to entertain anyone. Glad to spend it with my loved ones.

From farm to table: we prepared the local dishes supervised by two ladies. It was fun, but MC got bitten by lots of mosquitoes xD

It was an Indonesian / Nyonya themed dinner where we all are supposed to wear floral or kebaya. Thanks to my maid for helping me to prep the lemongrass chicken ingredients and peanut sauce for gado-gado yummmss
And then..Covid 2nd wave hits Brunei in August. We all had our 2nd dose by then already, and I had my booster dose in Dec while working in the national isolation centre. Was deployed to NIC for 2 months. I went there when it was nearly the end of 2nd wave so the workload wasn't too bad, and it allowed me to have sufficient time for some studying. The only hassle was having to drive 45mins - 1 hr from Bandar to Tutong. 2 months flew back quickly though..
It was really really last minute (as usual), so we went by as Georgie and IT lol

For my birthday, we had jet ski with J&M. Thanks again for the wonderful gift!! It was raining heavily prior and we thought we had to reschedule. We decided to go along with it (even though we were 20 mins late - thankfully the person extended our time as it was supposed to me an hour).
2021 was simple, and unfortunately, Covid did restrict a lot of outings / gatherings / travels. I guess we just have to learn to enjoy the moment and do what we can, given the circumstances.
