2020 went past so fast, and 2021 is coming to an end..
1. MRCP UK Part 1
I took MRCP UK Part 1 in Jan 2020 and passed. Studied hard for this exam. Flew to SG and took the exams. Glad all the hard work and efforts were worth it.
2. CNY celebration with family
It's been a while since my aunts are back. Aunt P and D always make effort to visit whenever they can, and we had a great celebration.
Also went to SG to celebrate J's birthday, and we went to Batam; last celebration together.
3. Covid-19
Covid outbreak in March and borders were close. Shortly after that, my relationship ended as well. Was deployed from my ENT placement to flu centre to swab patients, and then back to ICU as they were understaffed. One of the toughest times in my life, but there's always a silver lining behind every cloud (:
4. Picnic with besties J & A
We did a morning ATV session for J's birthday -- first time in my life, and I got severely sunburnt! We started late, and ended around 1pm..didn't apply enough sunblock T___T
No joke, I even had blisters on my arms *cries
It took nearly a year for my skin to return to its original colour. Yes, I had 2 tones for a year and it's so obvious whenever I wore sleeveless clothes. Had to use aloe vera gel for the first week.
We then had picnic at Muara beach for J's birthday.
5. Hiking adventures
Due to covid, we can't really travel..so we explored Brunei instead. Got hooked with hiking and chasing waterfalls. Didn't know Brunei has so many waterfalls!!
I don't really have proper hiking shoes, and I was so scared when we crossed this log..so slippery with the moss..

6. Halloween
Got to dressed up twice for Halloween~ First event was with medic8ion for October babies' birthday and get-together~

7. 27th Birthday
Watermelon strawberry cake!! I missed the original watermelon cake from Black Star Pastry -- the best!
This baker used meringue with sponge and I'm not a huge fan of meringue >_<

8. New relationship status
Wasn't actively looking for someone new; was just focusing on myself and improving myself..and then, it happened. I guess love really comes when you least expected it. Introduced by our mutual friend; we went out for dinner. The first meeting wasn't awkward, but there were a lot of conversations about his ex girlfriend, as he just broke up 3 months before we met.
Not gonna lie, it was a rough start. We were VERY different in a lot of ways, and when both of us just got out from our previous relationships, there will be a lot of doubts. Whether we were rushing things, and whether we were just rebounds in each others' lives. There were insecurities and arguments, but I'm glad we worked it through.
9. Christmas 2020
I guess when you can't go overseas, you start celebrating a lot more events at home with friends and family. My weight sky rocketed since my birthday, because there were never ending food galore and celebrations. I have gained 5kgs ever since last year and still in the process of losing em' fats T____T

2nd celebration with the surgical peeps at the lounge. Blue x yellow theme. I got a standing lamp. Still don't know who's my secret santa till date!
3rd celebration with Supri & gang. Received a personalised Sttoke ceramic cup!! Love it!
4th celebration with Internal medicine peeps..where we did lucky draw for our gifts. I got a tupperware bottle xD So much food and I had food coma afterwards

2020 was a rough year. A lot of sadness, disappointments, frustrations..but it also taught us to be patient, and cherish what we have. Thank you 2020. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. 2021 is coming to an end soon, and life seems despair right now; but never lose hope.
